I may not have had strong connections with most of the cast and was annoyed with a number of specific sections, but I liked spending time in Sand Land (and beyond) and seeing my garage upgrade and grow.
If
you thought Chains of Olympus was pushing the limits of what the PSP
could accomplish, you’ll be blown away by what Ready at Dawn has with Ghost of Sparta.
Toy
Story 3 ultimately succeeds in the same way that Pixar’s films do –
it’s attractive to young people who get a great surface experience and
for older audiences who appreciate extra layers of depth.
This is nearly an exact port of Metal Slug 7, which released in late
2008 on the DS. However, XX corrects the DS
version’s ultimate sin of lacking Metal Slug’s trademark two-player
co-op.
I’m glad to report that, while it might not be the classic that the
original is, LittleBigPlanet PSP is something we see far too rarely on
the system: a well-made and captivating platformer.
