New Persona 3 The Movie: #1 Spring Of Birth Trailer Appears Online

by Kyle Hilliard on Nov 17, 2013 at 09:57 AM

The latest trailer for the currently Japan-only Persona 3 The Movie: #1 Spring of Birth will look familiar to anyone who has played the film's source material game.

In the trailer you'll see, what appears to be, a very close approximation to the the game's opening in movie form. Persona 3 released on the PlayStation 2 in 2007, but received a PSP port in 2010, which you can download and play on the Vita.

The film will release in Japanese theaters on November 23. At the moment, there are no plans to bring the movie to North America, but considering the rising popularity of the Persona series with the success of games like Persona 4 Golden and Persona 4 Arena, I would be surprised if we didn't see the move with at least some translated subtitles.

For more on the film head here, and here.
