MOBA Vain Glory Coming To iPhone 6 & iPhone 6 Plus

by Andrew Reiner on Sep 09, 2014 at 07:44 AM

New developer Super Evil Megacorp took to Apple's stage during today's iPhone 6 reveal to announce a new MOBA called Vain Glory. This multiplayer game is developed exclusively for the new iPhones, and pits two teams against one another in a war to be the first to destroy the opposing base's crystal. The game runs at 60 frames per second, and can display over 100 animated characters and 1.3 million polygons onscreen at once.

Few gameplay details were given, but Stephan Sherman of Super Evil Megacorp says that the players are also battling for control over a beast (pictured above), that, once tamed, will help your team take down the crystal. Both the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are powered by a new 64-bit A8 processor, which is 20 percent faster than the 5s. Apple claims that graphics receive a 50 percent boost on the new hardware.
