Retro Game Master Coming To DVD
Game Center CX is a fantastic, quirky Japanese TV show that sees a mild-mannered, middle-aged Japanese man (pictured above) challenging himself to play difficult old games to completion. Last year this series finally made a proper North American debut via translated episodes on Kotaku under the name Retro Game Master. Now it will also be available on DVD.
CrunchyRoll reports that the twelve episodes of Retro Game Master that appeared on Kotaku will be released on DVD by Discotek Media. The episodes will feature two audio tracks, one which is fully Japanese with subtitles and one which features dubbed English voiceover for the narration. No word on when the DVDs will be available beyond "soon."
Retro Game Master is a seriously entertaining show for gamers, so if you didn't catch the episodes when they were available on Kotaku, you should definitely consider checking out this DVD set. Kacho ON!
