Replay – Transformers: War For Cybertron
In 2007, the success of the Transformers movie made rich people with money to invest in nostalgic properties realize, "Oh. People really like these transforming robots, don't they?" The brand was suddenly incredibly valuable again and Activision decided to capitalize on it, but not with just a lame old movie tie-in video game (those came later).
Transformers: War for Cybertron occurs before the story most of us are familiar with, taking place on the Transformers' home planet, Cybertron, which is at war, if the game's subtitle didn't make that clear. Join Andrew Reiner, Jeff Cork, Ben Hanson, and me as we try to figure out where Transformers come from and Hanson tests the limits of his stomach.
