YouTube Gaming Reveals Its Top Trending Games For March 2016

YouTube Gaming announced its top trending games for March 2016 today. After The Division's financially successful launch, it's no surprise that Ubisoft's popular shooter takes the top slot.

Mortal Kombat X comes in at second place after the release of Kombat Pack 2 gave it a bump in popularity, and this makes Street Fighter V's absence even more conspicuous. Clash Royale replaces last month's third-place holder XCOM 2. EA Sports UFC edges out Dark Souls III for the number 4 slot, and the Souls game ends up ranking relatively high for not releasing in the West until April 12.

It's fascinating to watch how drastically these charts change every month. There is almost a complete turnover every time, with only a few exceptional games clinging to the charts. The Division is the only game to pop up on the trending chart twice in recent months, and its first appearance was due to its bustling beta period
