Fall Comes To Animal Crossing: New Horizons

by Jason Guisao on Sep 01, 2020 at 12:04 PM

We praised Animal Crossing: New Horizons for its quirky gameplay, large cast of colorful villagers, and seasonal events. Players in the Northern Hemisphere that boot up the game today will notice that fall has finally arrived!

In addition to new critters and fish to catch and donate to the museum, acorns and pine cones can be collected from trees and used to craft items from fall-themed DIY recipes. Similar to the plethora of updates that came with the summer season, new collectibles, critters, and color palettes will shift over the coming months.

Previous Animal Crossing: New Horizons' events have introduced gameplay-based updates like swimming as well as holiday-based festivities like Nature Day. What new game mechanic or holiday would you like to see implemented during this fall season?
