Persona 5
We don’t normally cover Japanese release dates, but this one might have some implication for our readership. This morning, Atlus finally announced when Persona 5 will be out in Japan, meaning the game is on track to be completed very soon (if not already).
The game lands on September 15. Given how long RPGs take to complete, it might as well be going toe-to-toe with Final Fantasy XV, which is out on September 30.
No Western release date has been announce for Persona 5, but we strongly suspect that it’s going to be at least a few months later. Whether it makes a 2016 release here in North America is anyone’s guess at this point.
When it does arrive, it will do so on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 3. Now, if you'll excuse us, we'll be refreshing our inboxes until Atlus USA hits us with a Western release date.
