Forza Motorsport 4
For a European games convention it was a little strange not to hear a lot of news about Microsoft's Forza 4 (full disclosure stereotype: Europeans like soccer and racing), but we played the title and have a video on one of its new tracks – Germany's Hockenheim.
Oddly enough, the game's vaunted Kinect functionality that was the focus at E3 wasn't on display, but what was there was a sweet hydraulic racing cockpit with a force-feedback racing wheel and a seat that simulated the movement and Gs of whipping around corners in a fast sports car. Perhaps as an ode to Kinect's head-tracking ability however (where the peripheral monitors your head position as you look around the car cockpit, with the game changing the camera view accordingly), the cockpit setup did have a three-screen display.
As far as new details go, Microsoft and developer Turn 10 did release a making of-video regarding the rendering of Germany's own Hockenheim track into the game.
