Today, Producer Gearbox and Developer 2K Australia released this walkthrough of the entire Borderlands:  The Pre-Sequel E3 2014 demo. 2K Australia Producer Joel Eschler and Gearbox Associate Producer James Lopez narrate as they play through the demo, giving players an idea of what they can except when they head to Pandora’s moon later this year.

The video begins by showing off the new character Wilhelm the Enforcer’s class and upgrade options. Soon enough, however, the shooting starts, and although it certainly looks like the Borderlands we know, the demo focuses on the changes that fighting and exploring on The Pre-Sequel’s zero-G environment will introduce.

If this walkthrough is any indication, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will make good use of its setting, with an increased focus on verticality and platforming to accommodate for the classic high moon-jump zero-G allows for. Players will also be able to shoot air-geysers on the rocky surface to boost themselves up even higher, as well as to replenish their O2 tanks— which will be important, as oxygen is a limited resource that will need to be watched.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will come out for Xbox 360, PS3, and PC on October 14. For more on the upcoming shooter-RPG, check out our in-depth preview, or get some advice from Handsome Jack himself on how to use your butt to survive on the moon.
