Sony Reveals November’s Most Downloaded PS4 Games

by Ben Reeves on Dec 12, 2016 at 08:43 AM

With new releases like Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, Final Fantasy XV, Dishonored 2, and Watch Dogs 2, November was a big month for games.

Infinity Ward and Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare seem to be the big winners last month, as the space shooter took in the most downloads on PS4. It should be noted that these numbers don't take into account physical sales, so the total sales rankings could look a bit different.

PlayStation Blog also shows that Psychonauts was the most downloaded PS Classic title, Jak and Daxter Collection was the most downloaded Vita game, and Job Simulator was the most downloaded PSVR game. Check out the list of the top 20 most-downloaded PS4 games below.

Our Take
This year has been a great year for shooters so it's not surprising to see both Call of Duty and Battlefield at the top of this list. However, it's a little sad that Arkane Studios' systems-based stealth/action hybrid didn’t even crack the top 20 and got outsold by year-old games like Mad Max and Just Cause 3. Hopefully,
Dishonored 2 sold better on other platforms, because this isn't a good omen for the series.
