SNK And Atlus Announce The King Of Fighters XIV Championships
According to a trailer released by Atlus, a King of Fighters tournament will take place in early 2017. It will have 16 entrants from around the world competing for the title, so there's sure to be some high level gameplay on display.
This fourth wall-breaking tongue-in-cheek trailer features Antonov trying to get KOF XIV to sell 20,000,000,000 copies along with pro players shedding some positive light on the game. While these pro players seem to fairly enjoy the game, we had some mixed feelings.
Our Take
A contest of champions seems like it'll be a good time for KOF fans, but it may not get new players interested in the game. Also, it's still weird that Terry doesn't ask how anyone is doing anymore.
