Pair Of Sega Classics Headline Five New Xbox One Backward Compatibility Games

by Mike Futter on Apr 26, 2016 at 08:07 AM

Microsoft has added another five titles to its backward compatibility roster. All of these originally appeared on the Xbox Live Arcade and now make their debut on Xbox One.

Two of Sega's early console titles make the jump yet another generation. Altered Beast and Comix Zone give you a chance to beat 'em up in two different settings.

For those who have a nostalgia itch but want something a bit more contemporary, Double Dragon Neon is blend of old and new. It retains the original's flare, but brings a contemporary feel with flashy visuals and thumping music.

Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime, the maligned second title from last generation featuring New York's finest is available for download on Xbox One. The most recent title of the bunch, The Cave from Ron Gilbert and Double Fine, is a decidedly more cerebral experience than the other games joining the service.

You can check out the full backward compatibility roster on Major Nelson's website.
