Deadpool Arrives On Xbox One, PS4 Version On The Way
Activision is rolling out an upgraded version of High Moon Studios’ Deadpool starting today. Originally released in 2013 for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC, the Merc with a Mouth took a little vacation at the end of that year via delisting.
The PC version reappeared on Steam with little fanfare in July. In August, Activision announced current-gen versions while also returning the PS3 and Xbox 360 editions to sale digitally. The last-gen versions are still priced at $49.99, which is exactly what the upgrades sell for.
The Xbox One version is available now. The PlayStation 4 edition has not yet appeared on the PlayStation Store, but we expect it will emerge soon. For more, check out our review of the original release.

Our Take
Activision’s pricing feels off kilter, as it did with the Prototype bundle on Xbox One and PlayStation 4. Even stranger is the exceedingly high price for the last-gen versions two years later. It’s also unclear if the new version offers any significant upgrades, as we’ve seen no footage of it yet.
