Sony Drops The Price Of The PS4
Sony has announced that effective October 9, the base PS4 will drop in price from $399 to $349 in the U.S.
Not only is the price of the system's base configuration being dropped (it also applies to Canada, where it's going from $449 CAD to $429), but the console's upcoming holiday bundles are going down as well in varying degrees.

Before the holidays is always a great time for a price drop, and given how aggressive Microsoft is being with its deals and bundles, it's also a good time for Sony to respond.
