Reader Discussion: What Rare Game Are You Most Excited To Replay?

by Brian Shea on Aug 03, 2015 at 03:15 PM

Rare is a development studio with a prestigious history of developing great games. From the mid 80s to today, Rare has put out several games that many people have fond memories of.

With Rare Replay hitting Xbox One tomorrow, we want to know which game you're most excited to relive. Is it an old favorite from your past, or is it one you've never played before. Maybe it's one of the older games that released before your time, or perhaps one of the more recent ones that you missed? For me, it's a combination of the two. Rare's earliest work came out before I was born, and because of that, I missed out on playing several of them during my childhood. I played a ton of Rare games in the 1990s, but in recent years, I haven't had the opportunity to play games like the Viva Piñata series, or anything from Banjo-Kazooie after the first game.

If you're having a hard time deciding, the package contains the following titles:

  • Jetpac
  • Lunar Jetman
  • Atic Atac
  • Sabre Wulf
  • Underwurlde
  • Knight Lore
  • Gunfright
  • Slalom
  • R.C. Pro-Am
  • Cobra Triangle
  • Snake Rattle 'n' Roll
  • Solar Jetman
  • Digger T. Rock
  • Battletoads
  • R.C. Pro-Am II
  • Battletoads Arcade
  • Killer Instinct Gold
  • Blast Corps
  • Banjo-Kazooie
  • Jet Force Gemini
  • Perfect Dark
  • Banjo-Tooie
  • Conker's Bad Fur Day
  • Grabbed by the Ghoulies
  • Kameo
  • Perfect Dark Zero
  • Viva Piñata
  • Jetpac Refueled
  • Viva Piñata: Trouble in Paradise
  • Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts
