Activision Teases Sierra Announcement
Sierra Entertainment, the publisher behind King's Quest, Gabriel Knight, and Leisure Suit Larry, may be making a return. Activision, which acquired Sierra in the 2008 merger with Vivendi games, launched a new website for Sierra late last night. The site offers the message "Gamescom 2014," and a brief video showing an explorer in the tundra and a new Sierra logo.
How Activision plans to use this brand is unknown at this time. Last year, Telltale Games announced it was no longer working on a King's Quest game, and that the game license reverted back to Activision. We'll have more on Sierra's return next week when Gamescom gets underway.
