Steam Sale Day 12: Simulations, Space Travel, And Supernatural Thrillers
We’re 12 days into the Steam Holiday Sale and, surprisingly, there has not been a single “second chance” day yet. Our story from late last week predicting today’s sales was correct, and you can save on some of 2013’s best (and more).
- Alan Wake - $2.99 (Regularly $29.99)
- Farming Simulator 2013 Titanium Edition - $14.99 (Regularly $29.99)
- Game Dev Tycoon - $4.99 (Regularly $9.99)
- Grand Theft Auto IV - $4.99 (Regularly $19.99)
- Injustice: Gods Among Us - $24.99 (Regularly $49.99)
- Kerbal Space Program - $16.19 (Regularly $26.99)
- Metro: Last Light - $13.59 (Regularly $39.99)
- Outlast - $6.79 (Regularly $19.99)
- Rising Storm - $4.99 (Regularly $19.99)
As a reminder, yesterday’s sales are still active through 1 PM Eastern tomorrow (December 31). Flash sales and community votes refresh every eight hours.
Our Take
You can get every bit of Alan Wake content for $3.99 (the extra dollar gets you the collector's edition content, including soundtrack, and American Nightmare). You can also get all of the Metro series, including the season pass, for under $25. This series is a departure from most first-person shooters. I enjoy playing them in their native Russian to enhance the experience.
