Artist RJ Palmer Gives The More Abstract Giratina A Realistic Rendition

by Kyle Hilliard on Dec 22, 2013 at 09:00 AM

Most of Palmer's work on creating realistic Pokémon centers around the game's roster of creatures that are more grounded in reality. Giratina is a much more abstract Pokémon.

It's a more terrifying creature than his typical work, especially when you take into account Giratina's size. You can see a larger version of the piece on Palmer's DeviantArt page.

Artist RJ Palmer has been creating these very impressive realistic Pokémon for quite some time. You can see more of his collection on his blog, as well as his DeviantArt page. He's also collected most of his work into a book which you can buy here, and place on a coffee table.

Of course, Palmer isn't the only artist tackling realistic versions of Pokémon. You can head here to check out a few pieces from Yuuki Morita.
