LittleBigPlanet DC Comics Pack Gets An Adorable Trailer
Sackboy is joining DC’s greatest heroes in an upcoming level pack. In the trailer below, you’ll see Batman, Wonder Woman, Superman, The Flash, and some of DC’s most notorious villains. Oh, and Sackboy gets a cape and learns how to glide.
The DC Comics-themed bundle for LittleBigPlanet 2 will be hitting the PlayStation Store this week according to the European PlayStation Blog (no word on a North American release). The level pack comes with the Cyborg and Cheetah costumes. A costume pack featuring Superman, Supergirl, Lex Luthor, Bizarro, and Brainiac has also been revealed for release alongside the levels.
In 2014, there will be three additional costume packs with a combination of five heroes and villains in each. The DC Comics level pack is also coming to Vita next year with its own exclusive costume. Marvel Comics content was released for the original LittleBigPlanet in 2010.
Sony is also offering a season pass for the DC Comics content. In Europe that will cost £19.99/€24.99. We’ll keep you posted once we know more about a North American release.

Media Molecule and Sony continue to support LittleBigPlanet with cool crossover content. I haven’t played this in a while, but the DC Comics pack might be what draws me back in. After Tearaway, I’m looking forward to seeing what Media Molecule is working on for PS4.
