Watch Us Play And Weigh In On 1-2-Switch

by Jeff Marchiafava on Jan 13, 2017 at 08:36 AM

Ben Hanson milked some cows, guessed balls, and got in a high-noon duel in 1-2-Switch, and is ready to share his impressions.

1-2-Switch is a party game that features a collection of competitive, motion-controlled mini-games. Unlike most party games however, 1-2-Switch doesn't focus on the television screen – instead, most of the games feature auditory and vibrational cues that emanate from the Joycon controllers to guide the action. G.I. video producer Ben Hanson just got his hands on 1-2-Switch at Nintendo's Switch event in NYC and tried out four of the demos, which included a fast-draw duel, milking a cow, guessing how many balls are in a box based on haptic feedback, and a game of sightless table tennis. In the video below, Hanson shares his impressions of the game, including what works and what doesn't.

We'll be bringing you more hands-on impressions from Nintendo's Switch event all day, so stay tuned!
