Among Us New Map Revealed Alongside A Geoff Keighley Mask

Among Us is an indie treasure that released back in 2018 and flew under the radar. Luckily, it was given a much-deserved second lease on life this year, rising to become one of the most popular titles of 2020. With a small team less than the fingers on your hand, Among Us has become a cultural phenomenon and due to that success, there is more content on the way.

The new Airship map drops next year. While we don't have a release date, we know it's coming sometime earlier in the year and will bring with it new tasks, choice of starter room, ladders, and a few more surprises. While that release date is a little bit sus, the new map looks pretty awesome. Check it out:

So no new map today like many thought, but there is something dropping! Become the Game Awards host yourself with the limited-time Geoff Keighley mask in-game, available tonight.

Is that weird? Yeah. Is that on-brand for Among Us? You bet.

Due to the random burst of love for this game, we recently reviewed Among Us after the indie title escaped our radar at launch. It's surprisingly addicting, infinitely more so with friends. You can check out our full review here, with a small blurb below:

Developed by InnerSloth, the foundation of Among Us is simple: a social deduction game where a player is either a crewmate or the lone imposter. The imposter must pretend to do the assigned daily tasks in the game while stealthily killing off each crewmate one by one. If a body is discovered, a crewmate can call an Emergency Meeting to have a group chat trying to figure out who the imposter truly is.
Diving into Among Us, I see the charm despite its simplicity, and I can't help but to love the way this game makes me look at everyone as if they are super sus. Among Us is what it is, and unapologetically so. This year may be bad, but having fun experiences definitely isn't; Among Us provides a much-needed reprieve from reality without taking itself too seriously.
