Reader Discussion: What Is Your Game Of The Lustrum?
Here in the Game Informer offices, we have begun the 2018 Game of the Year discussions. It's a tense time, and the competition this year is fierce, but we're very practiced at it by now. We know how the process works, when and where to pick our battles, and when to apologize when we get unreasonably angry. This familiar time of the year prompted me to pause and reconsider something for a different 'best of' exercise.
What is your favorite game of the last five years. Adding four years to the time frame sets up competitions like Witcher III against Overwatch, or even surprising mash-ups like Sunset Overdrive versus Spider-Man.

For me, it might be obvious, but it's got to be The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild. There's a reason I gave it a 10. Second place might be Inside. I still think about what transpired in that game almost once a week.
