Beautiful Sega Genesis Art Makes Painted Controller Look Real

by Hershall Cook on Aug 19, 2015 at 12:32 PM

Randy Gallegos, a freelance illustrator, has taken the advice "Paint what you love" to heart. On his website Hearts For Hardware, he paints video game consoles and controllers, a subject that has fascinated him since a young age. Regarding the first time he saw an NES, Gallegos recalls "That gray and black rectangular console held the promise of so much wonder and enjoyment."

In the picture below, Gallegos has painted a light gray PlayStation controller.

Nintendo hardware also makes an appearance with two Wii remotes.
