First Look At Life Is Strange Comic

by JP Gemborys on Nov 08, 2018 at 12:44 PM

A new four-part comic book series based on the critically-acclaimed Life Is Strange video game is hitting shelves and digital comic shops next week, and we've been given a first look. The story centers on the lives of best friends Max Caulfield and Chloe Price, exactly one year after the devastating effects of one of the game’s possible endings.

Published by Titan Comics, the first chapter in the comic is written by Emma Vieceli, whose work includes being the artist for the Young Avengers #14 and Doctor Who: The Eighth Doctor Miniseries #1. Art will be done by Claudia Leonardi and color by Andrea Izzo. The first chapter is comprised of 32 full-color pages and becomes available November 14. You can check out the official trailer below.

Thus far, the video game has sold 3 million copies across every platform, so fans should be excited to resume the story of these two beloved characters. For our review of the first chapter, you can travel back in time here.

On September 27, the first chapter of Life Is Strange 2 also launched for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, introducing new characters and a new setting to the series. You can see our review for the first chapter of that here. Time will tell if these characters reach comics.

For a first look at some of the art and scenes from the upcoming comic, check out our gallery below.
