Madden 18 Predicts Another Patriots Super Bowl Victory
EA Sports has released its annual Super Bowl prediction using Madden 18's sim engine, and the year is different but the result is the same.
In the sim the Patriots beat the Eagles 24-20, anchored by a 342-yard, three-TD performance by Pats QB Tom Brady that earns him another Super Bowl MVP award.
The game has plenty of back-and-forth moments, including turning a Brady INT into points heading into the fourth quarter.
On the one hand, EA's prediction could be added locker-room material for an Eagles team that has thrived on being the underdog all playoffs, or EA and Madden simply might have a good sim engine. For instance, here is last year's Super Bowl prediction, just one of many examples of the game picking the right winner.
