Fallout Shelter Hits Xbox One And Windows 10 Next Week

by Kimberley Wallace on Feb 03, 2017 at 06:35 AM

Fallout Shelter, a free-to-play mobile game, engaged many when it launched back in 2015, and has only grown since then with pets, iconic Fallout characters, additional rooms, and more. It later hit PC. Now Xbox One and Windows 10 users are getting the opportunity to build and manage their own vault as well.

This all begins on February 7. Fallout Shelter is an Xbox Play Anywhere title, which allows players to switch between the Xbox One and their Windows 10 PC, retaining their progress, saves, and achievements. In addition, the game has been updated to work with an Xbox One controller.

It will be free to download, just as it has been on other platforms.

Our Take
This is great for those who have been itching to try the game, especially since it's had so many cool improvements since launch. If you haven't played it, it's worth giving it a shot when it launches next week on Xbox One.
