Crackdown 3 Delayed Out Of 2016

by Jeff Marchiafava on Jun 13, 2016 at 09:14 AM

Players will have to wait a bit longer to jump back into Crackdown's destructive sandbox; Reagent Games has announced Crackdown 3 as been delayed until 2017.

Reagent Games' creative director Dave Jones announced the delay on the official Crackdown website. Jones didn't give a new window beyond 2017, and the game wasn't shown during Microsoft's press conference. Microsoft had previously announced that Crackdown 3's destruction-focused multiplayer would launch this summer ahead of the main campaign.

On the bright side, Jones announced that Crackdown 3 would be part of Microsoft's Xbox Play Anywhere initiative, allowing fans to cross-buy and cross-play the game on Xbox One and PC.
