Jillian Aversa's Music Video Tribute To Hyrule Is Outstanding

by Jon Gregory on Mar 19, 2015 at 11:32 AM

Jillian Aversa’s tribute to The Legend of Zelda, created for Video Games Live, now has its own music video.

Video Games Live released its fourth album a little over a month ago, following a successful Kickstarter campaign. Part of the album, titled Level 4, was Jillian and Andrew Aversa’s arrangement of Zleda’s Lullaby and Ballad of the Goddess from Ocarina of Time and Skyward Sword respectively.

The music video for the arrangement, which was shot in California’s Redwood National Park and posted to Aversa's YouTube account, features the singer as Zelda along with numerous props and costumes from The Zelda Project. You can check it out below.

Video Games Live has been on tour since the end of January, and has shows planned into 2016. Aversa's arrangement is currently being played live with the show. You can find more tour dates on their website. Aversa's past works include contributions to the soundtracks of Halo, God of War, Civilization, and Soul Caliber among others.
