Anno Online's Closed Beta Now In Session
Ubisoft and BlueByte have announced that the closed beta for Anno Online in North America has now begun. Players interested in seeing how the medieval kingdom/shipping simulator plays can see for themselves after signing up on the game's official site.
The browser-based game is adapted from Anno 1404. Players build an empire from scratch, or at least close to it. When play begins, players only have a harbor and a warehouse. From there, it's all about resource management and trade. Ubisoft says additional features will be rolling out, starting with a guild system in mid-May.
