Microsoft Announces Matter For Kinect
During its E3 press conference, Microsoft debuted a teaser trailer for a new Kinect game entitled Matter. We have no idea what it is.
The CGI trailer featured a small, GLaDOS-like sphere droid floating through a cyberspace world comprised of moving cubes. The cubes created platforms as the silent robot glided along, ultimately meeting up with another sphere. The two floating orbs linked some kind of probes together, before the trailer cut to a "coming in 2013" screen. Also, to the groans of the GI press room, another message revealed that the game is being made for Kinect.
We still don't know what kind of game Matter is, but my guess is it's some kind of sci-fi puzzle game. We'll find out later this week when we check out the game for ourselves, so stay tuned.
