Developers Celebrate Release Of Smash Bros. With Art Countdown

by Imran Khan on Dec 06, 2018 at 12:20 PM

As Super Smash Bros. Ultimate inches closer to its December 7 release date, Nintendo has started ramping up the marketing for the game. As one of the biggest crossover titles of all time, a lot of the companies and series involved have been helping Nintendo countdown to its launch with art and congratulations. While it's still ongoing, here's a few of the images that have been shared so far.

There's still just a few days to go, so hopefully we start seeing more art from different companies. Hopefully Square Enix contributes some art, though Tetsuya Nomura did provide a poster for Cloud's inclusion when he was announced as DLC in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U and 3DS. (Update: He did!)

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's director recently explained why Kirby became the hero of the game's story mode, and also told us how he feels about some fans being disappointed by character choice. Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is releasing on December 6 on Nintendo Switch.
