The mass shooting took place at a Madden Classic qualifying tournament on Sunday, and was perpetrated by one of the participants. Eleven people were shot, including contestants Taylor Robertson and Elijah Clayton, who died from their wounds.

EA CEO Andrew Wilson released a statement on Tuesday, expressing condolences to the families and announcing that the final three qualifying tournaments would be canceled while the company reassesses its safety protocols for public events.

EA’s Jacksonville tribute livestream will take place next Thursday, September 6.
