Grand Theft Auto III brought sandbox games to the masses 10 years ago this month, and Rockstar is honoring the milestone with rereleases and a limited-edition action figure.
While they're still not letting just anybody into the beta, they are giving away 2,000 download keys over the next eight weeks through a Facebook sweepstakes.
It's not because aiming technology is better in the future or that the Covenant thinks aiming down a gun's barrel is dishonorable. The reason has more to do with gameplay pacing and balance.
