by Elise Favis on Sep 23, 2018 at 11:30 AM

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is coming to Switch, but it'll have a slightly different name: Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age S.

The news was announced at TGS 2018. According to Dragon Quest creator Yuji Horii, the "S" means several things, including "Switch," "Special," "Shaberu" (meaning "speaking" in Japanese) and "Seiyuu" (voice actor).

Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is available now on PlayStation 4 and PC. The western release added voice acting and dashing, two features that were unavailable in the original Japanese version. You can read our review here. As for the Switch version, no release date has been announced yet.
