2K Drive
Publisher 2K unceremoniously announced 2K Drive this morning by releasing a trailer on its YouTube channel. The racing game, which is coming out on iOS mobile devices, is being developed by Lucid, a team formed by senior members of the now-defunct studio Bizarre Creations.
As you can see in the trailer below, the game doesn't only feature cars whipping around asphalt corners. Players will be able to get dirty in off-road races, as well as participate in other challenges. In one segment, players will have to escape from an attack helicopter – good luck with that one.
The game will also provide an online hub that features automotive news, so you'll be able to keep up on the latest goings-on between track time. Bizarre Creations was the studio behind games including the Project Gotham Racing series and Blur, so racing fans might want to keep an eye out for this one.
The game is set for a fall release on iOS devices.
