Ubisoft Announces Uplay+ PC Subscription Service

by Matt Bertz on Jun 10, 2019 at 04:15 PM

Following in the footsteps of Xbox Game Pass, PlayStation Now, and EA Access, Ubisoft is the latest publisher to launch a subscription program focused on its considerable back catalog of hit games. Launching on September 3, the $14.99 per month PC service provides subscribers unlimited access to more than 100 Ubisoft titles, including upcoming releases, DLC, betas, and classic titles from its stable of popular franchises.

All Ubisoft's most recognizable brands are represented in the lineup, including Assassin's Creed, The Division, Ghost Recon, Rainbow Six, Far Cry, Rayman, Prince of Persia, Splinter Cell, and Beyond Good & Evil. The catalog also includes PC-centric franchises like Anno, Heroes of Might & Magic, and The Settlers.

Those who sign up for Uplay+ between June 10 and August 15 get to access a free trial period that runs from September 3 to September 30. Uplay+ will also come to Google's streaming platform, Stadia, in 2020. We have no word on whether the service might eventually migrate to consoles as well.
