Here Are The Grand Theft Auto IV Songs Removed Today

Earlier this month, Rockstar confirmed they'd be removing a number of songs from Grand Theft Auto IV due to the ten year licensing deal running out. Today, now that the update has gone live, we know what songs were removed.

It's unfortunate, and it seems a lot more was removed than added, but unfortunately licensing deals that simply exist forever are not very feasible without paying a fortune for individual songs. At least Rockstar warned people this time, unlike with Vice City and San Andreas, which received abrupt patches changing music without forewarning. If you own the game already and don't want to get patched, you can avoid doing so on PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 by not allowing the game to patch.
