Starbound Is Finally Officially Releasing Later This Month
After being in Early Access for two and a half years, Starbound has a release date. It will be coming to PC on July 22.
The news was announced by developer Chucklefish Games artist Rosie Ball via Twitter (shown below). The procedurally-generated adventure game originally entered Steam Early Access on December 4, 2013.

Our Take
Though this game's die hard fans have already experienced a lot of what Starbound has to offer through Early Access, it's great to see it finally get an official release date.
