Telltale's Batman Cast And First Screenshots Revealed

by Mike Futter on Jun 12, 2016 at 05:00 AM

Telltale has taken on comic books before, beginning with The Walking Dead and following up with The Wolf Among Us (based on Fables). The studio takes on its biggest challege this summer when its Batman series kicks off.

Today, we have our first look at the game's comic book art style. We also get a good look at the batsuit, batmobile, and one additional character: Catwoman.

We also now know who will be voicing these familiar characters. After voicing the Joker in Batman: Arkham Origins, Troy Baker switches sides. He'll be playing Bruce Wayne.

Baker's Infamous: Second Son brother, Travis Willingham, steps into the role of Harvey Dent (likely prior to the attack that turned him into Two-Face. Also from Infamous: Second Son, Laura Bailey will sharpen her claws as Selina Kyle (better known as Catwoman).

Erin Yvette, who is no stranger to Telltale titles after having played The Wolf Among Us' Snow White and Tales from the Borderlands' Sasha, will be playing reporter Vikki Vale. Richard McGonagle, who is most well known for his role as Uncharted's Victor Sullivan, is stepping into the role of mob boss Carmine Falcone.

Enn Reitel (The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim) and Murphy Guyer (Red Dead Redemption) round out the cast as Alfred Pennyworth and Lieutenant James Gordon. The fact that Gordon is only a lieutenant gives us a better understanding of where this game falls in Batman's storied career. There still unrevealed characters that will be announced later.

We'll have more on Telltale's Batman from the E3 show floor.
