New Releases This Week: October 18 Through October 24
This fall has had a more gradual crescendo than in many years past, but things are now starting to get uncomfortable for your wallet. Sure, November’s got tons of action, but October’s second half is surely no slouch.
This week sees the second half of the battle of the bands. Activision’s Guitar Hero revamp hits shelves with a new controller and completely retuned approach to DLC with Guitar Hero TV.
For horror buffs, Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water, Noct, and Slender: The Arrival (on Wii U this time) all deliver the frights. This week also sees the finales of two big episodic series. Life is Strange and Tales from the Borderland close up their remaining plot holes.
And this week also sees Ubisoft’s most important release of the year. After last year’s abysmal outing for the Assassin’s Creed franchise, there’s a lot riding on Syndicate. Here’s the full the full list:
