Reader Discussion: Have You Ever Abandoned A Game You Were Enjoying To Start Another?
I have been having a good time with Splatoon and was on the single-player campaign's end boss – but then Batman: Arkham Knight released.
I really don't like having to put down games, especially when I making good progress and having a good time, but sometimes something comes along that you simply can't avoid. Aside from being one of the games I have been most looking forward to in 2015, knowing there was a big spoiler relatively early in the game was like a ticking social media time bomb. I had to see what the fuss was all about, even though Splatoon's credits were only a few minutes away. I have since gone back and knocked out Splatoon's end boss, but not before making sure I got in a few solid Arkham Knight sessions.
