Activision: Destiny’s Biggest Content Update Yet Coming This Fall
During its first quarter earnings call, Activision mentioned multiple times a major update coming to Destiny this fall. The company isn’t sharing many details yet, especially since House of Wolves is just around the corner.
The second expansion, which has been revealed piece by piece over the past few weeks, will arrive on May 19. Bungie also recently registered a trademark for something called “The Taken King.”

Our Take
This could be a bit of hyperbole and hype, especially as there are very few details at this point. In order to hold players through a competitive holiday season though, Bungie will need to go big.
