Ubisoft Bundles Up Freedom For Assassin’s Creed The Americas Collection

by Mike Futter on Sep 08, 2014 at 07:50 AM

Oh say can you see? Ubisoft is offering up a bundle of three Assassin’s Creed titles focused on life in (and around) colonial America.

Assassin’s Creed The Americas Collection includes Assassin’s Creed III, Assassin’s Creed Liberation HD, and Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag. The bundle will be available on October 28 (which you might recall is the pre-delay release date of Assassin’s Creed Unity - now arriving alongside Rogue on November 11).

We’ve inquired with Ubisoft about the bundle to find out if it will include the DLC for these titles. We’ll update should we receive a response.

Assassin’s Creed The Americas Collection will be released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. No price has yet been announced.

Our Take
Until there is a price and a better understanding of the included content, it’s hard to assess the value against buying the included items separately. I suspect this will probably be a bargain for those that have yet to play these games, but you won’t be getting the best version of Black Flag. That honor belongs to the new-gen iterations.
