343 Industries Posts New Halo Concept Art

by Bryan Vore on Jan 09, 2014 at 12:55 PM

Executive producer Josh Holmes updated his blog on Halo Waypoint today looking forward to the new year. The post is primarily focused on staff changes at 343 Industries. Holmes describes his transition from creative director on Halo 4 to executive producer, welcomes new creative director Tim Longo, and wishes former art director Kenneth Scott well in his new role as visual design consultant.

Holmes also teases the current project of Halo 4 executive producer Kiki Wolfkill saying, "Our intrepid Wolfkiller is right here, developing exciting new stories, experiences and technologies that will transform the way that you experience Halo. She will have more to share at a later date, but I can promise that what she is working on is really cool."

But the most immediately satisfying part of the update is new concept art for what is most likely the new Halo. It comes courtesy of new art director Nicolas “Sparth” Bouvier. "In closing," Holmes writes, "I will leave you with this image from Sparth – an early exploration of a new location that features prominently in a little game project we’re tinkering with…."
