Every year, Universal Orlando puts together an impressive collection of haunted houses and horror attractions. This year, Universal is looking towards The Walking Dead, Evil Dead, The Cabin in the Woods, and Resident Evil.

Universal consulted with Capcom, specifically Resident Evil 6 producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi, on the creation of Halloween Horror Nights 23's main event. The attraction takes place in Raccoon City and features enemies from the game like Lickers, Cerberuses, Nemesis himself, and of course zombies. The house attempt to recreate the experience of the video game in some surprising ways.

"One room in the haunted house will appear as if an action-packed fight scene is paused, as if the gamer has taken a quick break before returning to the horror of Raccoon City. The Resident Evil franchise is now firmly."

Halloween Horror Nights 23 begins September 20 and ends November 2. To learn more, head here.
