More Than 125 Million Grand Theft Auto Games Have Been Shipped
Rockstar announced a huge milestone for the Grand Theft Auto franchise today, revealing that the series has shipped just over 125 million games, 25 million of which have been Grand Theft Auto IV.
The announcement comes from a presentation at the Credit Suisse 2012 Technology Conference by Take-Two Interactive's CEO Strauss Zelnick. Zelnick likened the Grand Theft Auto series and its popularity to the James Bond franchise.
