Star Raiders Releases This Week
The classic space combat game is getting a modern-day reinvention on Xbox Live Arcade.
A tweet from Microsoft's Major Nelson has revealed that Star Raiders will be releasing soon. How soon? How about tomorrow? The Atari downloadable game will re-establish the classic space shooter first seen on Atari systems in 1979. The new version of the game features ship transformations and robot co-pilots as players navigate through outer space dogfights and examine tactical maps.
The game was originally announced for Live Arcade, PSN, and PC, but we've heard no word yet on release dates for either the PSN or PC versions.
