A simple looking costume isn’t always a simple endeavor. As impressive as Tomoyo Chan’s sewing skills are, so are the wig styling, makeup, and photos from her Final Fantasy XIII tribute – having found the perfect futuristic setting for her shoot. Check out the gallery of photos below.

Who: The Character

Serah from Final Fantasy XIII

Why: The Decision

She looks sweet, nice, and cute. Her costume looks like a future school girl uniform and I wanted to make a casual costume.

What: The Process

The costume took me about two weeks. It's not as easy as it looks! The hardest tasks was the top, I think, but the silk vest was also very hard. It has to have a precise shape, and silk is very hard to cut regardless.

Where and When: The Debut

The photoshoot is at the modern district of Paris: La Défense. Here there are towers, gardens and places which make you feel in the future, perfect for a Final Fantasy XIII costume!
