Hudson Partners With Child's Play Charity

by Matt Miller on Aug 30, 2010 at 12:40 PM

By beefing up Lost In Shadows' Facebook numbers, you can contribute to a pretty darned good cause.

Hudson Entertainment is requesting that gamers swing by their Facebook page for Lost In Shadow and "Like" the page. For each thumbs up they get, Hudson will contribute 10 cents to Child's Play. If Facebook visitors alter their portrait to appear as a shadow, then Hudson will up the contributed amount to $1. The drive runs from today through September 7.

Child's Play is a charity with roots in the gaming industry, established by the Penny Arcade folks, that gives toys, games, and money to kids in children's hospitals around the country.

Lost In Shadows is an upcoming platforming game from Hudson that stars a young boy's shadow as it traverses a dangerous and mystical tower. The game releases on January 4, 2011 for the Wii.
